Hello and welcome to the web site for the Volusia County Jim White Lodge #40, Fraternal Order of Police. Lodge #40 is the only Lodge currently serving both Volusia and Flagler Counties in Central Florida. We dedicate ourselves to serving not only the Law Enforcement Officers of both counties, but also our retired members and our associate members. A little about myself. I am currently a Senior Deputy with the Volusia County Sheriff's Office and have been so for about 16 and 1/2 years. I have been with Lodge #40 since the early 1990's. In 2007 I will be starting my third term as President. Prior to 1990 I belonged to FOP Lodge #63 in Richmond, Indiana from 1980 where I served as the Lodge Manager. On the Labor side, I had served on the bargaining unit for The Volusia County Sheriff's Office for a few years until our Department had a change in its union affiliation. I look forward to serving the Members of Lodge #40 with the same commitment, honor, and integrity as many of the past presidents have done. I would like to extend my deepest thanks to those businesses and members who have so generously donated their time and support to our Lodge.
